Meet Dr. Ved Berani

Dr. Ved Berani, a second-generation dentist and the principal dentist at Sleep Dream Smile and Healthy Smiles, shows great pride in his work by helping his patients achieve cosmetic and aesthetic results all while utilising sleep dentistry and sedation. Dr. Ved, a proponent of painless and anxiety-free dentistry, has dedicated his practice to the phobic and anxious patients by offering a variety of sedation options from twilight sedation (IV), general anaesthetic, laughing gas and oral sedation.

Recently, his dedication to continuing education has driven him to achieve the Fellowship at the greater New York Dental Meeting of the International Academy of Dentofacial Aesthetics (FIADFE) and also a Membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners (MFGDP) in the UK.

In 1999, Dr. Ved made his first mark in the history of the University of Bombay when he topped with a distinction! He shares his knowledge and experience with all patients and clinical coordinators to increase the overall experience of practising in a private practice to make it more enjoyable for everyone. Additionally, he completed an Advanced Implant Certification from the gIDE Institute in collaboration with Loma Linda University, Los Angeles in 2018.

Since taking over the 35-year-old practice from Dr. Kleine 16 years ago, he has dedicated his time to delivering high-quality state of the art dentistry in a relaxed and pleasant environment. He introduced the philosophy of “Healthy mouths… Beautiful smiles”, which helps deliver high-quality cosmetic dentistry while still retaining basic principles of prevention and maintaining a healthy foundation of teeth and gums. His special interests are sleep dentistry, full face aesthetics, implants, ALL on 4 Malo concept and porcelain Veneers which drive the cosmetic results he achieves for all his patients.

A ‘patients first’ philosophy has led Dr. Ved to develop and grow his current practice to a team of 25 and is always available for his patients. He is an avid gardener and manages his time at work and at home with three children and one day hopes to have a culinary degree in world cuisine.
